Chocolate Covered Bacon

Who doesn't love bacon?  This past holiday season I decided to try something different from my usual maple bacon cupcakes.   I made chocolate chocolate chip candied bacon cupcakes with maple cream cheese frosting! These were absolutely delish!  They were a hit among family & friends.

I've always wanted to be that mommy that brings fun cupcakes to class, so the this Christmas gave me the opportunity to try.  These ended up being Christmas gifts for our family.

I made reindeer & snowmen cupcakes.  It was very time consuming,  but they came out sooo cute!

These were red velvet snowmen & yellow cake with chocolate buttercream reindeers.

Yummy Yummy Scrumdilli - AKA tea party

One of my old classmates who is an AKA asked me to bake vanilla & chocolate cupcakes for a tea party.  To add a little "flava" to the cupcakes I dyed the vanilla cupcakes pink & green (the colors of the sorority) and added edible disco dust to the frosting.  She said that everyone loved them!

Attention bacon lovers!! Scrumdilli has a new flavor!!

This past summer my family & I went to the Orange County Fair & tried a maple bacon doughnut...YUM! I thought wouldn't that be yummy to have a maple bacon cupcake.  So I went on the hunt for a recipe & I found one!  Of course I had to make a few changes to the recipe to make it work for me; needless to say it was a hit!

Imagine this maple flavored cupcakes with infused with candied bacon bits, maple cream cheese frosting, and topped with candied bacon bits!
